History

Murphey Candler Park is the largest park in North DeKalb County. It offers a variety of recreation and leisure activities. The community pool is open seasonally. In addition to the pool, there are baseball and softball fields, a playground, and a multi-use field.

Murphey Candler Park is located in the city of Brookhaven, Georgia. This area was once part of the larger town of Decatur, which was a major transportation hub during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
